Doggy Rules

Dogs must be a minimum of 4 months old to attend daycare and boarding.

For Dog Daycare participation, dog must be spayed and neutered after 6 months of age. Dogs who are not spayed/neutered after 6 months of age are accepted for boarding and private playtime only.

Dogs must be able to socialize and interact with other dogs. Dogs will not get daycare if they show the following behavior: aggressiveness towards other dogs, excessive mounting, biting, and severe medical problems.

Current on vaccinations: rabies, DHLPP (distemper) and Bordetella (canine cough).

Veterinarian must fax vaccination records directly to us at 843-225-5753 prior to arrival (or email info@charlestondoghouse.com)

Dogs must be in general good health.

The owner must complete the Veterinary Release Form, Hold Harmless Agreement, and the Daycare Agreement. Save time by completing forms prior to check-in.

If someone other than yourself is dropping off your dog, please contact us beforehand with this information. We may need you to fill out some paperwork.

Holiday Reservation Policy

All major holiday reservations need to be confirmed. A Charleston Dog House staff member will contact you a week prior to arrival. Failure to confirm reservation will result in loss of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

No penalties but we appreciate courtesy calls.
